What is theMILL?
theMILL is an interdenominational community of college students and 20-somethings in the Colorado Springs area with the intent of bending their lives around God.  theMILL is a ministry of New Life Church.

What does “theMILL” stand for?
Absolutely nothing – seriously!  But if you think of something we are open to suggestions.

When does theMILL meet?
theMILL begins at 7:00PM and meets every Friday night all year round (except the Friday after Thanksgiving).

What happens on a Friday night?
Each Friday night includes approximately 45 minutes of worship led by theMILL band and a 45-minute message by our regular speaker, Aaron Stern.

Do I have to attend New Life Church to go to theMILL?
Not at all.  You’ll find young adults from all over the Colorado at theMILL.

Is there an age limit at theMILL?
While there isn’t an age requirement, most people at theMILL are typically between 18 and 20-something.

How do I find out more about theMILL and get involved?
Check out the ‘community’ section of the website for avenues to plug in or visit the info table at theMILL.  Anyone is also welcome to attend our monthly Welcome Shindig.  The Welcome Shindig is an opportunity to meet other newcomers, ask questions and meet leaders.  It is held the first Friday of every month after theMILL in room 160 (in hallway to east of Theater).

Where can I find a specific song that you've played at theMILL?
Chances are that most of the songs played at theMILL can be found on www.verticalmusic.com (registration is required for no charge).  If you still cannot find what you are looking for you can email Glenn Packiam at glenn@theMILLonline.org.

How can I join theMILL band?
As our band is comprised of a few, dedicated, regular musicians, the need seldom arises to add new players, but all are welcome to participate in New Life Church band auditions typically held once a year in September.  For specific dates and details check out www.newlifeworship.com.

Can I book theMILL band?
theMILL band, as we know it, focuses all of its energy on theMILL alone. Because of this, the band has decided not book itself for other events. However, many of the band members are part of the Desperation Band, which is available for booking.  For more information visit www.desperationband.com.

How can I volunteer at theMILL?
There are eight volunteer teams that make theMILL happen each week.  For more information on these teams, please go to the ‘leadership’ section of our website.

Can I promote my event / ministry at theMILL?
Because we strive to be impartial, focused, and simple, we typically do not promote events, specific ministries, or causes at theMILL.  We've found that it is impossible to grant all requests of this kind and we find it difficult to promote some and not others.  We ask that you honor this decision by refraining from passing out flyers in the lobby or parking lot or placing materials on the cars.

Can I order previous individual audio message CDs of theMILL?
The previous week's audio message is always available at theMILL merch table.  Most messages are also available as a part of a series.  Series’ can be purchased at theMILL merch table or online on the ‘store’ section of the website.
