Daniel moved to Colorado Springs and joined the New Life Church staff in July of 2005, two months after graduating from Oral Roberts University with a Theology degree and less than two weeks after marrying Lisa, the girl of his dreams. Daniel and Lisa have since joined forces to raise a baby girl named Lillian Carol Grothe.
 
Daniel grew up in church -- his parents served on the pastoral staff at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, OK. In fact, he thought everyone’s parents worked at church and attended every service available.  Why not?! He has a passion to serve people through the local church and help them connect with Jesus.
 
Daniel likes to shoot three pointers, throw a football, sink a birdie putt, hike a Colorado mountain with his wife, play drums loudly and spend time with family and friends. Active should be his middle name. Daniel is so nice he has no dislikes of anything or anyone.
